You will be responsible for leading the development, co-ordination, delivery and evaluation of the services provided by the student welfare team nationally. You will collaborate with others and lead on the implementation of best practice, consistency and efficiency in all aspects of delivery, connecting with academic programme staff and other departments as appropriate. You will ensure the efficient and effective management of the student welfare team within the London campus.
You will be educated to at least degree level with experience of working within a welfare department in an educational environment. You will have significant management experience, ideally within higher education. It is essential you are able to identify and manage risk where there is serious concern for the health and wellbeing of individuals in order to make appropriate onward referrals. You will also possess demonstrable conflict resolution skills. Your ability to develop effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders along with excellent interpersonal skills will be crucial to success in this role. Experience of working in a large multi-site organisation would be advantageous.
