We are searching for a talented and motivated Conference & Events Coordinator to organise and support internal and external events.
You will sell all vacant conference facilities for University of Law, Birmingham campus to maximise the generation of internal and external revenue; to proactively seek new business and to ensure the seamless handover of bookings from sales to operations.
You will be responsible for responding to all in-coming enquiries, meeting clients on and off site; converting bookings and co-ordinating all details relating to an event.
You will have a track record of managing events, preferably in a Higher Education to time and budget; you will also have evidence of exemplary customer service resulting in high levels of customer satisfaction amongst event attendees. You will have excellent organisational skills with the ability to prioritise effectively when presented with competing demands.
You should have a degree (or equivalent qualification or relevant professional experience). Experience of using event management systems such as Kinetics would be desirable.
The role will be 17.5 hours per week, on a 5 out of 7 day contract and will require flexibility with regard to working hours.
