Who are we?
The University of Law (ULaw) is one of the UK's largest law schools. With an impressive history going back to 1876, we employ c680 staff and attract over 7000 students to study on our undergraduate and postgraduate programmes. ULaw has an outstanding reputation as a full service legal and educational training specialist, operating from eleven campuses throughout England with additional global reach through online and face to face provision. Manchester campus is a growing campus with over 1100 students across a diverse range of both undergraduate and postgraduate courses.
What are we looking for?

You will enjoy being challenged (by students and course content in equal measure) and be able to adapt to the different learning styles of students and methods of course delivery.

Please note that classes are also routinely delivered over weekends and evenings and tutors are expected to work flexibly within these parameters.
As part of the tutor development programme, we will also support you to study for a recognised teaching qualification within your first 18 months of employment.
For an informal discussion about the role please contact Lauren Fairhurst at [email protected] or Laura McGarry at [email protected]
Interviews will be held w/c 13th July and 20th July 2020 via video conferencing.
No agencies please.
Some posts within the University are subject to a DBS check - you will be notified of this during the application process.
As an equal opportunities employer, we welcome applications from all suitably qualified persons. However, as Black, Asian and Minority Ethnic (BAME) individuals are currently under-represented within the University - which does not reflect our diverse student body - we would particularly welcome applications from BAME candidates. All appointments will be made on merit.
