We are looking to recruit Lecturers or Senior Lecturers to join us on our exciting journey in our conveniently located central Leeds campus - ideally qualified solicitors, barristers or lawyers who can demonstrate successful legal practice experience, or experienced HE law tutors/academics with relevant teaching experience.
Salary: Lecturer: £40,000 - £42,000 (max pay grade £44,500) plus £1,550 location weighting allowance
Senior Lecturer: £48,000 - £53,000 (max pay grade £58,000) plus £1,550 location weighting allowance
As a Lecturer/Senior Lecturer you will be eager to share your expertise and become involved in all aspects of enhancing the student experience, primarily teaching on our LPC, SQE, BPC, PGDL, LLB and AMIL programmes. Due to the variety of courses and numbers of students, Lecturers/Senior Lecturers are expected to be present on campus during their usual working hours, although occasional flexible working may be possible.
Classes and extra-curricular events are also routinely delivered over weekends and evenings and Lecturers/Senior Lecturers are expected to work flexibly within these parameters. You will be based at our Leeds campus, but as we work closely with our Sheffield and Newcastle campuses, you may also be required to teach at these locations.

*Please note that if you do not currently have/are not undertaking a PgCHE or an equivalent qualification, it is a requirement that you will enrol into the programme (delivered and financially supported by the University), within 18 months of passing probation.
